It’s time for the Bucks to start Malcolm Brogdon. Not just time. Way past time. I understand the Bucks might not want to admit “Hey we screwed up by signing this vegemite-addicted bogan to a big contract because he looked really good when he got to play with LeBron” but if they’re serious about making the playoffs (which they seem to be), they have to kick Dellavedova to the curb and start Brogdon. And then they have to go back to Point Giannis and have Brogdon be the secondary ball-handler because Giannis is the only player keeping this team from being worse than the Nets, so he should get to do whatever he wants.
To be fair, Delly might be a “real” NBA veteran who supplies intangibles, but Brogdon LOOKS like a real NBA veteran given how wrinkly his face his. A player with as wrinkly a face as Brogdon’s is sure to provide tons of intangibles. Combined with the fact that his tangible stats are way better than those of the Awful Aussie, this shouldn’t even really be a conversation. But with Jason Kidd, even obvious lineup changes are never that obvious. The only one he’s made this season that I agreed with is taking Jabari out of the starting lineup so he could go on vacation for the next twelve months. I hope he’s having fun wherever he is.
