For those who say that DownToBuck is a man utterly beholden to view counts, to subscriber totals and likes, behold: a C.J. Miles video that will get, at most, 15 views, as well as cost me dozens of subscribers.
No one cares about C.J. Miles unless you’re talking about the Instagram model, which I’m definitely not. I don’t think even he cares about himself. There are maybe a few Pacers fans who kind of appreciate that he’s having one of his more impactful seasons this year, but if he suddenly disappeared, they would hardly notice.
15 views is being optimistic, probably. Who the heck would click on this video? I don’t have a target audience in mind, because there is no target audience. Maybe the target audience is people who suck at clicking on things and misclick their way to these “highlights”? And it’s a good thing I’m making this video now, when I have subscribers to lose, as opposed to at the beginning of my channel, which would result in negatives subscribers and permanent banishment from YouTube’s hallowed halls.
