Ersan Ilyasova has a grand total of one (1) game in the 10-19 scoring range, a 10-point outing against the Knicks. Everything else has been single digits or twenty-plus. Feast or famine with this man.
Still, I thought it would be all famine with him due to how he finished last season. Every 20-point game from him is a new and exciting miracle straight from Tengri. Tonight, he was the only one who could do anything against the Pistons until John Collins came in and donated a few buckets. I’m not going to go full-crazy on you and say he’s the Hawks’ best offensive player, but it’s something we can at least talk about, right? Ignore Dennis Schroder for the purposes of this discussion. He doesn’t count, because he’s a chucker. Chuckers can’t be a team’s best offensive player.
