Is there any particular reason why the 76ers commentators call Dario Saric “The Homie”? Because if it were me commentating these games (which would be such a bad idea but whatever), I would use that nickname for Richaun Holmes instead, and I’d spell it “The Holmie”. There must be some explanation or rationale that I’m not seeing, because nicknames don’t just appear out of thin air, out of nothing. If someone can explain this to me, please do, because I am a big dumb-dumb and have very little spare processing power to use on thinking about it.
I guess it’s as good as anything, because I don’t really have a more compelling nickname for him. Maybe… “Super Dario”? Nah, forget about it.
Saric had one of his best games of the season tonight, scoring 27 and hitting way more threes than he usually does. You could say this for just about any player, but if he starts hitting that more consistently than he already is, he’ll be a dangerous player. Maybe he’s already a dangerous player? I wouldn’t go that far, but he’s looking good, taking that ROTY of the Year snub (except it wasn’t a snub LOLOLOL take that Philly homers) in stride.
