Tyrone Wallace 13 Points Clippers Debut Full Highlights (1/6/2018)

Tyrone Wallace, in his first NBA game, was tasked with defending Stephen Curry. Hey, just go out there and try your best against the best shooter in NBA history. You’ll be fine. Don’t worry about it.

Other players had their chance at guarding Curry, so it’s not like all 45 were dropped squarely on Wallace’s head. But still. Good news for him is that everyone else he faces in the league will seem like nothing compared to this. It can only get better for him from here on out.

Offensively, he had a decent debut, though it’s not unexpected that the D-League’s better scorers will be able to come in to the big leagues and do at least some stuff. He took a lot of shots, made some of them, and that’s all there is to say. I’m looking at his D-League stats and wondering how well a scorer with no three-point range and iffy foul shooting will do, but that’s a question for another day. For now, I would have crossed him off my list, except he was never there in the first place.
