The Pelicans’ commentators didn’t mention it during this game that I heard, but they’ve mentioned it in the past: Darius Miller’s shot is flat AF. Like Chandler Parsons levels of flat. So flat that I wonder how those line drives ever go into the rim. Is that the shot he dominated Germany with, leading his team to three straight Germany league titles? If so, I guess he’s free to keep shooting it, but he should keep in mind that the German Übermenschen, while both Über and Menschen, are not as likely to block shots as their American counterparts.
While watching this video, you should notice a lot of similarities to Khris Middleton. The willingness to shoot pull-ups, the flat shot, the squished-looking face, it’s all there. I would even go so far as to say that D-Mill is Khris Middleton 0.5. He didn’t show any post turnarounds, but that Kha$h Money Midrange was on full display.
