Trey Burke 18 Points Full Highlights (1/26/2018)

Trey “Prime A.I.” Burke did the majority of his damage tonight, 16 points worth, in a span of 6 minutes in the fourth quarter before getting subbed out for Frank Ntilikina (who is officially obsolete now just thought I’d mention that). The Suns are bad, but they’re still an NBA team who doesn’t especially want a fresh-out-of-the-D-League reclamation project scoring on them unstoppably, so I’d say this is just as impressive as his last game, which featured a lot more assists but wasn’t as concise as this one.

It’s way too early for Knicks fans to start crowing about how they found a gem that no one else wanted, but I’ll allow them a few preliminary crows. Burke could keep this up and be a useful scorer off the bench, or he could regress back into the player that no one wanted and sent to the D-League wasteland. Just being realistic here. I’ve seen this story play out so many times before, but it’s hard not to get excited for him.

Now if only we could get Jared Sullinger back in the league. He’s dominating in China, right?
