I’m one of approximately five people on earth who think the current Jazz branding/uniforms/colors are really sweet. I don’t know why everyone hates on it, it’s got the music-note “J”, what more do you freaks want?
With that said, they should permanently adopt the alternates they had tonight. Forever. Keep the court with that goofy-looking arch on it (I hate national parks but that arch is fiyaaaa), keep the yellow-to-red gradients everywhere, and while you’re at it, change the name to the Utah Moabs. Or the Utah Arches. Either one works. First the Miami Heat had the sweet temporary redesign, now the Jazz. I’m digging this trend. Conservative designs can go choke on my chode.
Is it any coincidence that the Jazz manhandled the Larriors (that’s Warriors with an L instead of a W)? Is it any coincidence that Ricky Rubio had one of the best games of the season, 23 and 11, against Stephen Lurry (that’s Curry except he’s frickin’ holding this L)? It is not. The new jerseys energized the team, they energized the fans, and they need to keep them around so that maybe the Jazz can go back to the playoffs.
