Malik Beasley 22 Points/6 Threes Full Highlights (1/15/2019)

Malik Beasley put up a very empty statline tonight with 22 points, 1 rebound, 0 assists, 0 steals, and 0 blocks. I would say it’s the “Tony Snell Special”, but Snell usually doesn’t score that many points. I did a quick search on games matching that exact statistical criteria (thanks basketball-reference, you are the real most valuable player) and found the following players who have done the same thing in a game this season:

-Harrison Barnes: 27 points, 1 rebound
-Malik Monk: 24 points, 1 rebound
-Terrance Ferguson: 21 points, 1 rebound

So Beasley sneaks into third place on this leaderboard of questionable relevance.

Fore reference, four players have scored 20+ but with one assist instead of one rebound: Marco Belinelli (24), Justin Jackson (22), Wesley Matthews (21), and J.J. Redick (20). I can’t say any of those names are surprises on either list. It’s just a bunch of shooting guards who, well, shoot, and that’s it.

Darius Miller scored 13 with 1 steal and Alec Burks scored 18 with 1 block. Again, not terribly interesting or relevant, but I thought it was kind of cool, and, besides, I’ve totally run out of things to say about Malik Beasley (if you couldn’t already tell).
