Matt “Born in a” Barnes looks like a Mexican drug lord. This is a fact, and as such, cannot be disputed. He also has one of the most hittable mugs in the league. This, too, is a concrete, immutable fact.
But there are things about him that are still up in the air. Is he any good? This is a matter of opinion. He’s certainly not bad. But I bet the Clippers could get a lot better if they replaced him with LeBron James. So he’s not doing as good as he could be.
I shouldn’t be too hard on the Barnesacle. 6 threes is pretty good, especially for a not-very-good three point shooter. And it must be hard work coordinating the cocaine and heroin shipments for dozens of minor drug lords.
