Tyler Herro is a rarity: a mid first-round pick playing a big role for one of the better teams in the league. He’s not just playing a big role relative to the expectations of his draft placement; he’s scoring 15 per game for the Heat, and making as many or more shots than everyone else on the team except for Kendrick Nunn. Once Nunn comes back down to earth (which has to happen sometime, right?), Herro could be in line for official second-banana status behind Jimmy Butler.
I know I’m stanning pretty hard for this dude, so I think what I’m going to do is make a secondary channel devoted to nothing but Herro videos. That way I can be as much of a homer for him as I want without anyone getting mad at me for showing favoritism on my main channel. The plan is to make not only a vid for every game he plays, good or bad, but also have a separate vid for every shot he makes. As well as the usual reposting of content from the Heat team website of him getting interviewed or going to children’s hospitals or what have you.
You won’t believe it, but I’ve never uploaded a single non-highlight video to this channel (except for my announcement about getting deleted), and if started doing it for Herro only, people would get suspicious. The only thing that’s left to do is come up with a catchy channel name. Should be easy, with all the wordplay you can do with his last name. “TheHerroWeDeserve”, perhaps. Or “HerroWorship”. It’s making my head spin how many options I have.
