Jarrett Allen 20 Points/3 Blocks Full Highlights (12/4/2019)

Repeat after me: DeAndre Jordan BAD, Jarrett Allen GOOD. DeAndre Jordan BAD, Jarrett Allen Good. Louder! DeAndre Jordan BAD, Jarrett Allen GOOD. DEANDRE JORDAN BAD, JARRETT ALLEN GOOD!!!

This chanting is more for the casual NBA fan than a more informed Nets fan (who has probably already come to this conclusion for themself). The casual NBA fan will remember, should they cast their mind back to the days of the “Lob City” Clippers, how Jordan was a lob-catching beast who dunked it a million times every game and provided all-around solid play to propel the Clippers a little bit into the playoffs but no further. Such was the extent of his fandom that I declared him too good for my channel, despite him never averaging more than 13 per game.

He’s still off my channel, by the way, because if I was forced to make highlights of him I would get extremely upset. That’s the only reason, not because he’s good at all anymore. I may not like Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant on the Nets, but at least they’re good players. Jordan can just go away forever as far as I’m concerned.

I’ve said this before, but it bears repeating: Jarrett Allen is, like, five-hundred times more fun than Jordan. If not a thousand. It’s too bad that he’s all but given up on his outside shot (it wasn’t really working out, but it added to his funness), but the upside to that is that he hardly ever misses shots anymore. Everything is in the paint, mostly everything is a dunk. Jordan had some sweet dunkilations, I will admit, but I feel like the one for Allen this year is going to be spectacular.
