If you are of weak constitution, below the age of 5 or above the age of 90, or have a diagnosed heart condition, I advise you to refrain from watching this video, because the sheer amount of raw hype that is contained within it would probably cause you to die. And I don’t want to be liable for any deaths. I once accidentally killed someone with an overlong Elfrid Payton video that bored them to death (and I put a warning on that one too), and the guilt will weigh on me forever.
Those that remain, those with a strong enough body and a strong enough will to endure the hype, are welcomed to one of the sickest (if not THE sickest, I can’t think of any that are sicker right off the top of my head) late-game shooting displays of the season. Tyler Herro just kept hitting big shot after big shot. Over and over. Repeatedly. I lost track of how many he hit because my blood-hype levels were going way too high and my brain was getting all foggy. I already get hyped for mundane, everyday jumpers by Herro; the fact that these were happening in the clutch and in overtime had me getting way too hyped.
In fact, I probably shouldn’t rewatch this video. I put a big warning for possible viewers, but there was no such warning available to me while I compiled these clips, and I ended up jumping straight into the deep end and then thrashing wildly around while wave after wave of hype threatened to consume my entire brain, leaving no room left for maintaining vital life functions.
So I hope this video turned out okay, I was totally out of it while editing it, and there’s no way I’m going back to check it out. Luckily for you guys I’m pretty much a highlight-making automaton who can churn out vids without even thinking. I’m sure it’ll be fine, I mean, how could a vid of Herro scoring 27 NOT be fine? Call me a Herro homer all you want, but this is one of the performances of the year for me.
