Brad Wanamaker 15 Points/2 Dunks Full Highlights (2/1/2020)

I have ignored Brad Wanamaker this whole season. Sometimes willfully (I’m not going to make a vid of him scoring 4 points unless someone gives me 25 bucks on Patreon and then requests it, and even then I’m not going to feel good about it at all), sometimes unwillfully (real-life commitments meant I ran out of time to squeeze in a vid of him scoring 14 back in Novemeber), but the ignorement has always been total and complete.

The ignorement ends now. 15 points is a season high for him, 5 makes ties a season high, and 2 dunks is probably a career high even if you consider high school and college and overseas games. Honestly, were it not for the fact that I KNEW he had a dunk on Joel Embiid followed by a brutal technical-worthy staredown, I might have said “eh, screw it, that Timi dude probably made a vid so no one will be missing out”. But I’m glad I didn’t, because it totally turned out that Wanamaker had a second dunk which elevates this video from “poo” to “Williamson-esque”.

Sidenote directed exclusively towards Hubie Brown: just because a guy hasn’t been in the NBA for very long doesn’t mean he’s a “young guy”. It’s an easy thing to assume, but Wanamaker had been plying his trade in Europe for a long time and is now already 30 years old. That basically makes him an “old guy” when it comes to NBA ages. And just look at him. That is not the face of a young guy. That is the lumpy, malformed visage of a guy who has gone to Europe and seen a lot of stuff.
