Malik Beasley 28 Points Full Highlights (3/3/2020)

I really hope that Michael Beasley, wherever he is, is doing okay. I cannot help but think of him and his stint with the Timberwolves while seeing Malik Beasley do pretty much the same things (basically scoring and that’s it) for the same team that he was doing but better.

Michael Beasley’s high scoring season with the Timberwolves (and in his whole career) was 19 per game. Malik Beasley is now at around 21 after tonight’s performance. Granted, it’s only been 10 games, but this amount of scoring is something that even the most optimistic Minnesota fan couldn’t have expected. Maybe there were a few Nuggets fans who thought that this was possible, but I feel like a lot of them turned on him a little bit while he was busy getting his career almost ruined by Paul Millsap.

And Will Barton.

Man, I keep thinking about Michael Beasley now. He got his career ruined too. FOR REAL. It’s ruined to the point of it being over. The Timberwolves would do well to give him a 10-day or something just so that I can see that he’s still alive and able to get buckets. Or, if they don’t have a roster spot available for a 10-day, just replace Malik with him in the middle of the night and see if the league notices. There’s no way that there’s anyone in the league office with any sort of punitive power who watches Timberwolves games.
