Is there a way to use the internet to tell me if seven is a career high in dunks for Jusuf Nurkic? I thought I was good at the internet but it turns out I’m not. And I haven’t yet shelled out for the new basketball-reference “Stathead” service (I don’t blame them for charging for it, I just haven’t bought it yet because I’m lazy), so if the answer is locked somewhere in those impenetrable vaults of knowledge, that’s irrelevant right now.
We’re just going to assume that seven is indeed a career high in dunks for Nurkish Delight. If anybody remembers a better dunk performance from this dude, feel free to let me know, but for now we’re assuming that he’s never before dunked it so many times in a single game. Nurkic is not a high-flyer, but he’s mobile enough and has good enough hands that he can catch his share of dunks. His lack of athleticism prevents him from being an ultra-dangerous lob target like Dwight Powell or something, but he proves in this video that he can still catch oops if he wants to.
Also, I can’t believe that this new Blazers commentator (who I don’t know the name of) actually called Torrey Craig “Aggro Craig”. This blatant pandering to millennials is unacceptable. It’s also melting my heart.
