I was getting worried about Brook Lopez for a while there, but you can count me OFFICIALLY UNWORRIED because Lopez is back to his old tricks of splashing endless triples and being extremely gigantic in the process. The extreme giganticness he never really lost even when he was slumping, but the regained three-point accuracy is causing me to breathe multiple sighs of relief as the Bucks get ready for the ‘yoffs.
Sigh…sigh….siiiiigh…..SIIIIIIIGHHHHH
Those are my sighs of relief. I would keep typing them out as a sigh them but I think that would get tedious both for me and for you. You get the idea, anyway. Bucks fans the world over are very happy to see Lopez turn from Trash Mountain back into Splash Mountain.
I was actually calling Lopez by the nickname “Desertified Mountain” during his slump because a desert is the opposite of the wetness associated with the concept of “splashing”, but that’s just not as catchy so I don’t blame people for not using that nickname. And it also just occurred to me that I could have been calling him “Brick Lopez” this entire time. Damn. Total missed opportunity there. Damn!
Damn!
