Melvin Frazier Jr.: the next Devyn Marble?
Since I don’t know much of anything about either of those players, other than that Marble wore goggles I think, the answer is obviously a resounding YES. Both are shooting guards, both hung around on the end of the Magic bench for two seasons without being noticed by anybody, and both of them are humans who ambulate on two legs. The similarities are there.
The main difference between the two is that Marble never got a highlight video because his career-high was (checks basketball-reference) only nine points. Melvin “Melvic Thrust” Frazier Jr. is now the proud owner of a double-digit scoring game in the NBA, therefore he is also the proud owner of a DTB highlight video. Except he doesn’t actually own the video. I do. And when I say “I”, I mean the NBA. The NBA owns this video. Since MFJ is part of the NBA he technically owns it. So he is the proud owner of a DTB highlight video.
