I have been informed by those knowledgeable about the situation that, even though this is a Seth Curry video and not a Stephen Curry video, there is no reason that I cannot say the phrase “Chef Curry with the pot boy” right now. I am in the clear legally, morally, and ontologically. So that’s what I’m going to do. I’m going to say it. Right now.
Chef Curry with the pot boy.
What my sources did not inform me of is what that phrase actually means. I’ve been looking at it for about 20 minutes now and I have yet to figure it out. Is this what it feels like to be an old person? To have cultural references fly in front of your face at a million miles an hour, leaving no hope of comprehension? Time has passed me by. Maybe if I say it again it will make sense this time.
Chef Curry with the pot boy.
In a situation like this, I sometimes default to assigning my own meaning to things, waving my hand dismissively and saying “FEH!” to conventional wisdom. So “Chef Curry” is Seth Curry, and the “pot” is all the sick layups he was making this game (seriously I’ve been making vids for him his whole career and I don’t think I’ve ever seen this many decisive finished from him in a single game EVER), and the “boy” is Paul George getting dominated. So there. Take that, Drake.
