Corey Brewer has found a spastic home in Houston, where his non-jumper and hounding defense fit right in with Patrick Beverley. Those first few games with the Rockets where he hit some threes are now revealed to be the illusion we all suspected they were; Corey now binges (then purges) on transition opportunities and stuff around the rim.
Tonight was no exception. Which is fine by me. I like layups. Dunks are cool, and jumpers are cool too, but there’s just something about layups that gets me really hyped up. Especially when they’re converted by a guy who looks and plays like he’s on crack.
