Don’t believe the narrative. I think people are being a little hard on him as he struggles a bit to start the year. His defense has been good from what I’ve seen, despite his suddenly-developed propensity for fouling everything that moves. His shot will come around, or it won’t, but it’s not his fault anyway because he only rarely gets anything resembling an open look these days.
He would look so good on a team with a functional offense. Imagine him on the Spurs. Better yet, the Warriors. He’d make Harrison Barnes look like garbage.
