Did anybody else freak out a little bit when Jabari started screaming while coming down from that dunk? I don’t want to lie to you guys, I almost started crying in the immediate aftermath. Then he got up and was running around like normal, but I was still a little bit shaken and I couldn’t really enjoy the rest of the game. Looking back at the replay it looks like he started yelling because he thought he was getting fouled or something, but it’s easy to see why an anxious person like myself might think that he had re-exploded his knee.
Knees are a lot like human life. Both can be taken from you in an instant while you’re dunking.
Jabari is on a minutes restriction right now to make sure he holds up okay. After this incident I’m thinking he should be on a dunk restriction too. That means no dunks for Jabari ever again in his career. Hey, it worked for Michael Redd.
