It really hit me hard while making these highlights: Vince Carter is an old person. It should make me happy that he’s still almost-sorta-kinda productive in the NBA, but all I feel is sadness. He looks like one of those former NBA players who’s now an assistant coach, but instead of coaching, Carter is actually still playing.
I was thinking that it wasn’t even that long ago that VC was putting up 20 PPG with the Nets, but now that I’m looking at his career stats it turns out that was almost a decade ago. A decade. A DECADE! I can’t help it bros, I’m crying right now.
Time claims another victim, my friends. We can only hope that our own turn will come sooner rather than later.
