There is a rumor out there that the Raptors turned down a deal centered (heh) around Dwight Howard and Jonas Valanciunas. Not knowing the other parts of the trade, it’s impossible to say whether they made the right move or not. In any case, do you get rid of a guy who needs touches but is private about it for a guy who publicly demands touches at every possible opportunity?
I have firsthand experience with touches. There are “good” touches and “bad” touches. Uncle Larry provides only bad touches. Good touches are like when I pet my cat Japurri Purrker and he curls up in a little ball. I presume that these NBA players only want the good kind, but I still don’t get why they have to be so upfront about it. Can’t they just play ball without thinking about the amount of physical contact they receive?
