Brothers Stephen and Seth Curry are well known for the proficiency from behind the arc. One more than the other, but as a combined unit they are the purest-shooting sibling pair in the NBA. This leads to the question, which sibling pair is the impurest-shooting in the league? The answer is obvious: Jerami and Jerian Grant.
Not including tonight’s outlier performance by Jerami, the duo are shooting a combined 20.8 percent from downtown, on 212 attempts. That’s way too many attempts to be making 1 out of 5. Way, WAY too many. Uncle Horace disapproves, boys. Hell, lets include Jerami’s game tonight. That brings the percentage to 21.5, which still really sucks total balls and is not acceptable.
They both have their excuses. Jerami is on a team which wants to lose; him shooting threes only furthers that goal. Jerian is, based on that one pre-draft workout vid, a total beast shooter, so is justified in shooting shots, even if they’re not going in at the moment. But still. It’s just so bad. And I bet if Jerai Grant was in the league, it would be even worse.
