Darius Miller was pretty spicy there for a stretch of the season from early November to early December. He was regularly putting up double-digit points and getting as many as two or three rebounds per contest. For a player of D-Mill’s caliber, who was out of the league for two years, that’s good enough to qualify as “spicy”. Or “tangy”. But mostly “spicy”.
Maybe this is the game that will get him back on track after a quiet December. He scored sixteen points on just six shot attempts, didn’t even grab a single rebound, and converted a career-high six free throws. (Side note: thank you Darius Miller for never being the guy who shoots way too many free throws. I hate free throws. End of story). When Solomon Hill gets back this dude’s minutes are going to wither away like Jennifer’s love for me did at the end of our relationship, but for now I can confidently say that we are watching D-Mill’s prime. Sit back and enjoy the show.
