I figure, as long as I keep making highlight videos, the regular season is still going on, in a way. I don’t want to face the reality of it being over. Luckily, there were 206 performances on this night where a player scored at least one bucket. Add a few more because some of them made free throws (but I’m not making the Thon Maker video screw you), and I’ve still got a long way to go. I’ve only made vids for 45 of those performances. We’re not done yet. The regular season must go on!
Except for the Timberwolves. I’m done with them now. What even happened to them this season? They were a playoff team last year, and now they’re back to being bad? Hardly anything even changed about them. Except Jimmy Butler decided he want to sabotage the whole operation. That’ll do it right there. He sabotaged everything, forced a trade, got a coach fired, and called their star player a pussy right to his face. That’s a pretty impressive resume. Definitely a guy I’d want on my team.
The common consensus on the internet is that the Wolves will never really be good until they’ve rid themselves of Andrew Wiggins and his gigantic contract. I sort of agree, but I’d also add to that they’ll never really be good until they start using Gorgui Dieng and Karl-Anthony Towns as a twin-towers combination for 30 minutes a game. I just thought of that right now, and on first inspection, it seems like the perfect plan. Maybe I’ll think of some reasons why it won’t work, but oh yeah, I’m done thinking about the Timberwolves for the next 6 months. See you next year Minnebros.
