Chandler Parsons Career High 32 Points Full Highlights (3/3/2013)

I like to criticize the ability of NBA scouts. Not like I could do any better, but you’d think that people who get paid exclusively to analyze basketball talent could do a little better job.

Take Chandler Parsons for instance. This dude was selected in the second round. Why was that? Are they totally incapable of telling which prospects will translate to the next level? This guy is a total beast, and he’s only in his second year in the league. Meanwhile bums like Austin Rivers get picked in the lottery. Maybe Parsons should have done more sick crossovers and played a little more iso-ball, since apparently that’s all the scouts like. Or maybe he should have had freak athleticism but no discernible skills. They like that too. Forget about fundamentally sound players who play well in a team concept.

I also hate how people are mentioning that he was 1 miss away from tying a Rockets record for most field goals without a miss. Who cares? If you have a good shot, you take it. Records are for losers. Real men win at all costs. Like Chandler Parsons. A real man.
