Note to Kings announcers: stop calling Patrick Patterson “P-pat”. Why would you call him that, when his nickname is obviously “Pat-Pat”? You HAVE to take advantage of the fact that the first syllable of both of his names is the same. Morons.
Anyway, I think Rockets fans were kind of disappointed that they got rid of Patterson in exchange for Thomas Robinson, given that Patterson can actually score the ball. But then they remembered that he couldn’t rebound worth a damn and softened a little bit. But from the Kings point of view they gave up a top-5 rookie with potential for a guy who probably isn’t gonna get a ton better. There’s a reason, I think, that the Kings have been one of the worst franchises of the past decade.
