Anthony Morrow is like a better, less-appreciated version of Klay Thompson. Nobody ever told Morrow that he needs to be the man on offense, so he picks the right times to start looking for his own shot. Thompson, on the other hand, will shoot until you take him out of the game.
One could even argue that Morrow fills his role on the Pelicans better than Tyreke Evans and Eric Gordon fill theirs. But in a league driven by “Look at those sick PPG numbers!”, people like Thompson, Evans, and Gordon will continue to get fat contracts while Morrow barely scrapes by on his million-dollar salary.
That’s cool though. I like having the whole Morrow bandwagon to myself. Lots of room for my many girlfriends.
