Gary Neal is not the kind of player that fits very well on a rebuilding team like the Bucks. Of course, they signed him with the intent of making some noise in a weak Eastern Conference, but only after it became apparent that that wasn’t happening, did they change course and claim it was a rebuilding year.
And that meant no more playing time for Gary. His value lies in being a bench spark for a contender. So, basically, what he was doing with the Spurs. And even then he’s a marginal talent, whose relentless chucking is mainly irritating except for every 6th game where he gets hot. I guess that’s why the call him a “6th man”! HAHAHAHA. You guys better start laughing.
Anyway, the Bobcats aren’t a contender, but they are a playoff team. And they need another guard who can maybe take the load off Kemba Walker. And that guard can’t be named Ben Gordon. So Neal fits the bill. I hope you enjoy him, Bobcats fans. Because I sure didn’t.
