I’ve been doing a lot of research lately. Scouring material, both electronic and printed, for clues. Where is Greivis Vasquez from? Real, concrete answers are hard to find.
Most of the sources indicate he is from a place called “Venezuela” which is located in “South America”. Now, I consider myself a geography expert. And I know what’s in the south of America. You’ve got Texas. You’ve got Mississippi. Scholars debate whether Missouri is southern. It think it is. If you go further down, you get to Mexico. That’s where tacos come from.
And burritos.
And that’s it. There’s no place called “Venezuela” anywhere down there. This appears to be a far reaching conspiracy; there must be agents who wish for this mythic place to be considered a country. Think of it this way: have you ever seen a Venezuela? What about your friends? Family? No?
I rest my case. He’s mostly likely Haitian.
