I hope people aren’t disappointed with Kawhi Leonard. Being the Finals MVP is kind of a big deal. He’s upped his stats in all categories except shooting percentages, but he hasn’t made any huge leap that makes it seem like he’s be leading his own team any time soon.
I’M not disappointed with him. Don’t be ridiculous. We’re justing speaking in hypotheticals here. I love Kawhi.
Obviously we’ll have to wait until he’s not on a team stacked with future HOFers, but I’m leaning towards the idea that he’ll peak as a super-sweet role player. Then you can pair him with a real star, someone like Anthony Davis, and they probably don’t stop winning chips until Kawhi’s gray ass-length hair starts falling out of his head.
