Sometimes providence smiles on ol’ DownToBuck. I won’t go in the details of the latest mess I got myself into, but it involved shooting a music video with Rodney Hood and then another kind of shooting happened.
I was pretty worried there for a while. I mean, we did kind of bail from the scene of the crime pretty fast, and no one down in Mississippi really knew who I was in the first place. Maybe I shouldn’t have been so spooked, but man, who knew there were so many sirens going on all the time? I don’t really know how Rodney managed to stay out of the slammer, since he was the one who pulled the trigger and all, but it’s all cool now. I think the pigs have given up on the case. It’s been almost 6 months.
I’ve been keeping my head down all the same. No need to call attention to myself by writing more raps about Rodney Hood. That’d be a dead giveaway. Nope, DownToBuck is living the clean life. It’s been weeks since I even thought about drive-bying a rival rap artist. I haven’t even attempted to contact Rodney since the incident.
