Normally I don’t like to make highlights where a lot of free throws are taken. Plays where fouls are drawn are not usually the most fun to watch, and often the ratio of buckets highlights to non-buckets highlights gets skewed within the video.
I’m making an exception here. Watching Kevin Martin draw fouls is watching a master demonstrating total mastery of his craft. “Kevin Martin’s Foul Machine” they called it during the broadcast. I don’t know how he does it. After they took away his rip-through move, he somehow seems to have adapted, by just lunging his body into defenders. The calls he gets are the type of calls reserved for superstars, a categorization which he decidedly does not fall into.
I debated not even including the actual made field goals in this vid. They’re fine, but they’re just not as cool as the drawn fouls.
