Am I the only one who thinks that, after he retires, Doug McDermott should open up a fast-casual burger joint called McBuckets? Offering customers high-quality burgers with fancy toppings, made to order, in a bucket with fresh-cut fries thrown in alongside. Instead of normal cups filled with soda, provide mini-buckets for beverage consumption. This is a frickin’ great idea. Damn I am so hungry for a burger right now. A McBucket burger. Put some blue cheese and bacon on it, make it haute cuisine. Hell yeah.
McDonalds would probably try to sue for trademark infringement, but as his nickname is Dougie McBuckets, I think he could get away with it. Now that I’ve come up with the idea first, I’d obviously get a share of the profits, but I’m not a greedy man. 50-50 split right down the middle sounds fair.
Does anyone remember how to tweet at athletes so that they pay attention? Doug needs to be made aware of this sooner rather than later. Forget the after retirement thing. This needs to happen NOW.
