Lost amidst the brouhaha surrounding Brandon Knight’s trippy-dubby was T.J. “Warren Peace” Warren’s career-high nineteen points on 9-of-13 from the field. He made only two fewer shots than Knight but it’s like nobody even cares! Sure, Warren recorded a big ol’ goose egg in the assists column, but his scoring has consistently been more efficient than Knight’s this year, so it evens out.
With each video I make for this guy, I become more and more of a believer. Right now I’m thinking that he could be a sixteen PPG starter on a mediocre team. Two more videos and I’ll be like “yeah T.J. Warren is a fringe all-star next year for sure.” By the end of the season I’ll be drawing crude fan art of Michael Jordan getting teabagged by T.J. Warren, except instead of the normal male anatomy, T.J. actually has a big golden Larry O’Brien trophy dangling down there. And MJ’s rings lay crumbled to dust all around him.
Just kidding. My artistic skills limit me to drawing stick figures.
