If you’re watching this video because you want to see Brook Lopez splash twenty-foot set-shots (frankly the only reason why I personally would ever want to watch a Blopez video), then you’re going to have to locate different video, because this video has only one jumpshot in it, and it’s a baby jumper from inside the free throw line. Fans of efficiency might be pleased but I’m sitting here shaking my head.
Jumpers are objectively the second coolest shot after dunks. Hook shots are sometimes cool, but only if they’re preceded by a ton of sweet footwork. At least two pivots. Otherwise they’re lame. Blopez only shoots lame hook shots in this video. He also dunks the ball twice with an average amount of power. The coolness factor of this video is unaffected by the dunks.
Given that this is probably the most boring Blopez video ever, and that even exciting videos of his fail to garner more than 2,000 views, I’m predicting another goose egg for this one. If you’re not hip with the lingo, goose egg means “zero”. As in no views.
