Mirza Teletovic didn’t sign up for this. When he joined the Suns, he was expecting to at least challenge for a playoff spot. Instead, he gets to spend a prime year of his career on a team that is imploding. What a ripoff. There should be provision in place in the CBA where if the team you signed with sucks, you get to choose a new team with no penalty. This is a good idea that has been thought through fully.
Barring that, the Suns could have at least moved him before the trade deadline. The Bucks had some interest, and even though the win situation would improve only slightly for Mirza, at least Milwaukee doesn’t have a bunch of ill-will between the players, coaching staff, and front office. Plus, they have Jason Kidd. Don’t you want to play of good ol’ Jason again, Mirza? The Bucks need spacing so bad that Kidd would probably play him 30 minutes a game. Or bench him for no reason. Hard to tell with that dude.
