Remember when Eric Gordon was an exciting young player, the next high-scoring SG? Putting up 22 points per game with an awful but exciting Clippers team, alongside the star-studded tandem of Blake Griffin and Ryan Gomes? “The Three G’s” people used to call them. Those were fun times. I want to go back to those times.
Now Gomes is out of the league, Griffin is a serial puncher, and Gordon is an injured mess on a directionless team and never lived up to his potential and also looks like a basketball. The Clippers may be winning games in their absence, but is anybody having any fun? No. Bring back “The Three G’s”, please.
