Gordon Hayward 27 Points Full Highlights (2/27/2016)

Thanks to a 27-point performance last night, Gordon “Gone Haywire” Hayward has added his name to the list of players this season averaging twenty points per game. That’s an important list to be on for two reasons: 1.) twenty is a nice round number that even really dumb people can comprehend and 2.) only good players get to be on that list unless their name is Mike James.

However, since Hayward is averaging around 20.02 points per game, all it would take is one slipup and he’s back off the list. That would be a very tragic thing indeed, so the Jazz coaches and players should be doing everything in their power to ensure that Hayward maintains his scoring average. That includes running plays for him, feeding him the ball whenever he wants it, playing him 48 minutes without a break, and actually telling other players not to shoot the ball EVER unless the shot clock is going to run out. Because averaging 20 over an entire season, well, it’s kind of a big deal.
