I like what I see from Malik Beasley. I know, I know, small sample sizes or whatever. I don’t care. I’m here to offer a deal to the Nuggets from the Bucks:
Michael Beasley and Steve Novak for Malik Beasley. Straight up. That’s it. No picks, just two-for-one.
Why do the Bucks do it? They get a young player, and that’s all they care about, really, is getting their average age closer and closer to 18.
Why do the Nuggets do it? They’re going need some more scoring punch when they make their playoff push later this year. A lot more scoring punch. That’s the Michael Beasley part. If you give him the ball, he scores the ball. Simple. Also Steve Novak is involved if you were paying attention. His role in Denver would be to sit next to Mike Miller and they can feel sad about being old and useless together. They could even have three-point contests in practice.
This is a good trade for both teams. I already called the Bucks ticket people with my trade proposal, and I received assurances that they were going to send it straight to the top. Expect this to go down in the next couple days.
