Troy Daniels 19 Points Full Highlights (11/30/2016)

One of the more unheralded storylines of the year: Troy Daniels has been completely, utterly, totally, one-hundred-percent broken beyond belief. Before this game, 3 of 21 from three and 1 of 7 from not-three. The Grizzlies signed him for only about 3 million per, a pittance compared to the crazy contracts being handed out this season, so it’s not the end of the world for them, but still. They could pay me five dollars to have a field goal percentage only 14.3 percentage points lower than Daniels’. Hell, I’d do it for free, as long as they gave me that sweet per diem money.

Hopefully this good performance breaks Daniels out of his slump a little bit. It hurts my head to think about his stats. He needs to get those up, and this is a good first step. Some of his threes tonight were a little deep (is that why he can’t make any this year? someone do my research for me), which might not be sustainable, but his confidence will only go up after this.

Or it won’t, and the Grizzlies will be paying a non-trivial amount of money to a human-shaped fleshy paperweight.
