I’m so happy that Norman Powell got the start tonight for the Raptors. It’s great! My brain is producing so many happy chemicals. God. Absolutely ecstatic right now. Really really great. I can’t imagine being happier.
Only one problem.
There’s this guy on the Raptors, they drafted him a few years ago, and they’ve been kind of bringing him along slowly, you know, make sure he doesn’t lose confidence or whatever. Fine. That’s cool. They didn’t use the little-kid gloves on Normal Powenn here, but this dude, they felt like they needed to treat him like a god-damn baby. A god-damn diaper-crapping, screaming, flailing baby. Bruno Caboclo deserved that starting spot way more tonight. WAY MORE. He’s ready. It’s his time. Let him shine.
