This video must have the highest floaters-to-normal shots ratio in any highlight video I have ever made (since I have yet to make any kind of floaterilation). Usually Delly will supplement his savvy floater game with some three pointers, but in this video we get like one Chris Paul-esque midrange jumper and then it’s just all floaters and runners. I’ve made clear my view on floaters (they’re the sole provenance of unathletic short people), so I won’t bore you with my pontifications, but if you’re one of those sick freaks who secretly enjoys watching videos of guys converting stilted push shots from seven feet away, this is exactly the video you need to sate your depraved urges.
Wacky Delly did much of his damage in the fourth quarter of this game, when the Nets were coming back and actually took the lead at one point. In that sense, this floater-filled video could also be considered to be full of clutch baskets. Clutch floaters, even. I don’t know if that’s a first in the history of the internet, but if it’s not a first, it’s probably a second or a third. Good on ya, mate. Shrimp on the barbie mate. Ya cunt.
