I don’t want to make Langston Galloway highlights, and you don’t want to watch Langston Galloway highlights, but the universe has decided that Langston Galloway will have highlight-worthy performances on a semi-regular basis, ignoring more deserving players like Kyle Wiltjer, Thon Maker, R.J. Hunter, and dozens of others. “No.” says the universe. “I have decided that I like Langston Galloway and I will favor him with more lucky bounces and better body functionality.”
That’s the only explanation for some of the shots he was hitting tonight versus the Grizzlies. How many of these did he just dribble around, without even looking to pass, and take a crappy jumper? Way more than I’ve ever seen from him before, that’s for sure. It actually makes for some good highlights of him for once, not the usual boring crappy ones. In fact, if you squint your eyes and apply some photoshop filters to this vid, you can almost pretend that it’s Klay Thompson scoring 60.
