Improbably, the Troy Daniels redemption tour continues. In a normal season, Daniels is good for only one or two of these games in a season. He builds up scoring energy while sitting on the bench and getting no minutes, then unleashes it in one big splooge during some random game. That’s how it works. Once he has splooged, there is no more sploogage going on for at least another couple weeks.
The abnormal has become the normal. It looks like Daniels has found the secret to splooge success, putting up a career-high 31 last game and following it up with tonight’s 29. Those games came on the heels of two 19-point performances, don’t forget. So that’s 4 games in a row where Daniels splooged, and he looks like he can keep splooging indefinitely. Oh, to be young again.
