Quietly, Eric Gordon has become one of the very best three-point shooters in the league. Right now, I’d put him behind Stephen Curry and then… maybe also Klay Thompson? But that’s it. Definitely top three, maybe top two. For Eric Gordon. I considered him done after all those injuries, but here is, canning threes with the best of them.
Granted, he plays on the Rockets, who let anybody and everybody chuck as many longbombs as they want. On another team, he wouldn’t get these kind of opportunities. But that doesn’t change the fact that he’s out there, shooting over 9 threes per 36, a three every 4 minutes he’s on the court, while connecting on 40% of them.
If he/Houston can keep this up, a three-ilation is in the future for this dude.
