How many times is Wesley Matthews going to score 26 points? I feel like 10% of my total vids this year have been him scoring that many points, and I’m getting sick of it. 30 isn’t that much more than 26, but I bet tons of people would watch highlights of such a performance if they were made available by an enterprising highlights-compiler. No one’s going to watch this one, because they already know what Wesley Matthews scoring 26 on nearly as many shots looks like.
Matthews is kind of chucking at this point, but only because the Mavericks are suffering a lack of players who can shoot shots. So I don’t blame him. It seems kind of unfair that they’re making a guy coming off an Achilles injury work so hard on offense, while someone like A.J. Hammons, who has full use of both his legs, gets to lounge around on the bench/in the D-League.
