Kyle O’Quinn 22 Points Full Highlights (12/13/2016)

Forget about Porzingis vs. Chriss. The real fight I wanted to see this game was Kyle O’Quinn vs. Alan Williams. Two undersized centers, who know how to use their size to their advantage, trading blows while standing on the scorer’s table? That would be a must-watch. You could sell tickets for a fight like that, and I guarantee it would be better than the snoozefest that was Pacquiao vs. Mayweather.

It almost happened. We were so close. O’Quinn pushed Williams a little bit after a hard foul, but that was it. He didn’t even respond later in the game when Williams flagrant-fouled him. No one punched anyone. Talk about disappointment!

Oh well. We still have this collection of sweet midrange jumpers to watch, even if it isn’t people punching each other with the aim of causing concussions. O’Quinn was touted as something of a jumpshooter late in his time with Orlando; I think this is the first game where that aspect of his game has really shone through. Knicks fans probably still hate him for sucking, but maybe they hate him a little less now.
